きんようびの　しゅくだいです。

日本のうちは、どんなうちですか？

アメリカのと　ちがいますか（different）？

日本のうちについて、インターネットで　べんきょうしてください。

そして、ブログに　ポストしてください。

１）Learn about Japanese houses by

         - checking relavant websites

         - reading your textbook p176-177

         - watching the following video

２）Compare American houses and Japanese ones and find similarities and differences

        Think "WHY" (i.e. Typical Japanese houses have at least one rice cooker. "WHY?"). 

３）Post a blog entry about American houses (rooms) for the Japanese audience. Introduce things in your house/ room, and if possible/ necessary explain why.

４）Use various adjectives, verbs and grammar structures.

You could use both にほんご and えいご if you like. Make sure that you introduce unique features of American houses for them.

ブログのしゅくだい: due 9/26 (げつようび)

いま、ノートルダム大学のキャンパスでは、こうじ (construction)が　たくさん (many) ありますね。くるまのパーキング (parking)は　ちょっとたいへん (tough)ですよ。
しゅうまつのブログのしゅくだいです。

1. Pick up one of the ノートルダム大学の たてもの and describe in detail.

2. Use the following grammar items.

• Location nouns
• Verbs (present & past tense)
• Adjectives

3. Check the comment made on your blog, and respond if you like.

4. Comment on the blogs of your classmates.

日本の映画（えいが）

こんにちは。来週の火曜日、日本の映画（えいが）があります。タイトルは「サマーウォーズ」です。とてもおもしろい映画（えいが）なので、来て下さい。

映画（えいが）には英語（えいご）のsubtitlesがありますよ。

Japanese Discussion Table

A Japanese discussion Table begins on Monday, September 19. 
This is a place to ask questions about and share your interests in Japan and Japanese culture in English.
But you can also practice speaking Japanese if you would like to.
When: Mondays and Tuesdays from September 19, 2016 at 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Where: Dining Room A at North Dining Hall

１）Read your previous post. Rewrite your paragraph with more complex structures if you can (use location nouns, for example). Correct errors if you find some.

２）Read classmates' blogs (at least 3) and make comments in にほんご。
